The FMF is a student association for the physics and math programmes at the RUG. We organize social, educational, and career events for our members to help them prepare for their futures and help them make the most of university life. Some examples are board game evenings, academic competitions, borrellectures, and introduction events. We aim to create an environment in which students can both grow as academics while also offering a space to take a break from university.
We want to use the Clubsupport to fund improvements for our members' room, such as sustainable cutlery, furniture, and board games. We believe that a warm and inviting atmosphere is crucial for the functioning of a student association, and thus we want to achieve that for our members. We plan to work with our members and find out exactly what our room needs to both attract new and accommodate old members, while making sure it will be useful for years to come.
We lowered the fees for events such as our symposia as well as art events like our painting workshop
